Overview

Ether Ship, an internationally award-winning Seoul-based architecture practice, needed a website redesign, their existing site felt outdated and undersold the scope and ambition of their work, from competition-winning buildings like Suncheon City Hall to research-driven, parametric design explorations. The goal was a site that matches the firm's design language and international standing.

Challenge

The challenge was translating the firm's design philosophy into a visual language for the site itself while keeping the execution simple and minimal, per the CEO's direction. The site also needed to let visitors move through the firm's work with minimal clicks and without relying on heavy animation, keeping the focus on the architecture rather than the interface.
